Thanksgiving project

Caden made this beautiful placemat in Ms. Tita's class.  We enjoyed reading what he was thankful for!  He had just received a small orange helicopter from Gigi.  He currently has a passion for helicopters and even wants to be one when he grows up!  ðŸ˜€

Practically Pikasso

We got to paint ornaments today!  Zida chose a gingerbread girl, Gentry and Caden chose penguins and age son chose a snowman to paint.  We had some very careful painters and excited to add it to the tree!

Mall fun

Thanksgiving

Mark, Charissa, Alexandra and the boys came down for Thanksgiving.  We did some previous traditions and added a few.

Our traditional pilgrim hats were enjoyed by all!
Our traditional bonfire.  The boys recited scripture and we kept reminding Caden not to get too close!
Gentry recites practically a whole chapter:
We went to the zoo the day after because of the beautiful weather!  Genson was  our little navigator with the map.  He didn't even want to let it go to take the picture.  :)

In the otter habitat.  Caden was too nervous to go down, but watched from the tree house.
 Checking out the leopard
 Chief Crazy Indian!
A sweet moment.  These two adore each other!

Thanksgiving at school

Caden had lots of little Thanksgiving works in his classroom.  He came home with a decorated headdress and a cute-as-can-be pinecone turkey with feathers showing what he's thankful for.  His teacher, Ms. Jayme was so touched that he included her!

Fuller Thanksgiving post 2

After enjoying the previous activities, we made hot chocolate with whipped cream and sprinkles and went outside to sit around the fire pit. We sang some songs, and the boys had fun adding branches to the fire.

The next day, the four little cousins went to the library for a special Thanksgiving story time. There was a story, puppet show, special shakers that we brought home, snacks and art.

Everyone doing the chicken dance while Caden wonders what is going on!
Gentry moving and grooving to the Chicken Dance!
The Fuller kids making turkeys.
Caden admiring the cousins-as he so often does. He even imitates them. It's so cute!

Thanksgiving with the Fullers

Mark's family came down from Oklahoma on Tuesday, and we all celebrated Tuesday night with Papa Murphy's pizza and some Thanksgiving fun!

The turkey cups I made beforehand:

Making our edible pilgrim hats:

The girls chipped in on the fun!
This is as far as Caden got with his Pilgrim hat! Haha! He ate each individual piece before putting it together.

What?? I haven't been snacking while in action!

Love how Gentry seems to be saying, "No more pictures!!"

The finished product! I love the hat with the top not centered. You could tell that one was made by a little one. :)
Fun in progress!

Ready for some more!!

Daddy had to help her with this project. :)

Roll-a-Turkey directions: We rolled a die, and then got to draw that part of the turkey that coincided with the number.

More Roll-a-Turkey fun!
