Vacation Post 6-On the way home

Caden fell asleep with puppy on the way home!

Sea World Post 4

After the show, we went to Sesame Street play land area where they had lots of rides for little ones.

Before leaving the play land, Caden splashed around in the splash pad.
Before leaving, we walked through an aquarium and past the dolphin area!

Vacation post 3-Sea World!

As soon as we arrived, we decided to go ahead and eat lunch.  We ate out of the back of the car.  Sally made me laugh when she said, "We're like small town hicks."  Caden had a Nutella sandwich and we had leftover chopped brisket.

The first animals we saw were the beautiful flamingos!
A must see show is Cannery Capers!  I read a mommy blog that recommended we get there preshow for the funny antics.  This man was hilarious!

Vacation post 2-River Center mall

This was our stop the last day of our vacay.

I would say, Caden's favorite part was the "excavator" (escalator)!

Caden saw these little kitties that waved their pass in the window of an Asian store.  He said with a chuckle, "Mommy, they're waving their paws!"  We also stopped at the Disney store and Caden loved the Spider-Man toys.  Gigi bought a Planes toy for him, and I bought him a Mickey Mouse sports bottle.

We played at the mall's riverboat-themed play area.

Vacation post 1--San Antonio-The Riverwalk

On Wednesday, we ate a yummy breakfast with waffles, bagels, eggs and more at our hotel and then headed for downtown San Antonio and the Riverwalk.  Our first activity was to ride the Riverboat Tours.

Waiting patiently for our boat.  Caden kept asking, "How many minutes Mommy?"

Our guide was hilarious!  It was Sally's first time and we all enjoyed the tour.  There were a few things I remembered from before.

We ate lunch at Cada De Rio-a brazen little mallard waited patiently for food to drop right near Caden!  A mariachi band played and sang at the next table.
